GA Traveling Clothesline Memorial
3:00-6:00pm
Over 100 newborn onesies will be hung on the traveling GA Clothesline Memorial to represent the 100+ babies who lose their life to genital cutting each year in the United States. This is a powerful and impacting display that draws the attention of all passerbys.
You are welcome to bring onesies with you to hang on the clothesline that you've decorated prior to GIAW, or use our supplies at the education booth to decorate one with your children on the lawn.
Adults and children who cannot attend GIAW in DC this year are invited to send in baby tees or onesies for the GA Clothesline ahead of time. Tees/onesies can be any color, and decorated in any way you wish, or mailed as blank tees for the children to decorate. Donations of blank onesies or funding for art supplies for this event are greatly appreciated as we add to the traveling GA clothesline each GIAW, and at SOS Odyssey stops throughout the year. Items must be received by March 28 to make it to Washington for GIAW.

GA Clothesline Memorial Onesies are kept together and make appearances at the Grand Intact Stand and SOS Odyssey locations across the nation throughout the rest of the year.
