Metro & Parking
METRO
Uber or Lyft are quick, easy options for moving around D.C. You will rarely need to wait more than a few minutes for a ride. Download an app before you venture to D.C. if this is something you'd like to utilize.
When riding the Metro during Genital Integrity Awareness Week, use the following maps:

The Capitol South Metro stop is closest to the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol and the restaurants we frequent most often during GIAW.
If you are taking a metro to leave the White House after the GIAW March on Saturday, the closest stop is Metro Central located at G and 12th NW.
PARKING
For those driving into D.C. to attend GIAW, the closest all-day parking location during weekdays for the lowest price (typically about $20-25 during the March Cherry Blossom Festival time, which coincides with GIAW) is Pacific Parking. It is an outdoor parking area located under the 695 overpass and an easy 10 minute walk to the West Lawn.
